Limited Lifetime Warranty
All Magic Glass replacement workmanship is guaranteed for the life of the vehicle, except when ownership changes. This warranty covers wind noise, water leaks, loose trim pieces, and some types of stress cracks. These issues will be repaired or replaced, at the option of Magic Glass, at no cost to you. This warranty DOES NOT COVER leakage or stress cracks caused by pre-existing rust, structural damage which occurs as a result of an auto collision, or rust deterioration. Our glass is warranted against defects in material or workmanship. Defects in the glass must be brought to the attention of Magic Glass within 30 days from the date of installation. Magic Glass does not provide any warranty on the installation of glass purchased by the customer and is not responsible for any glass breakage when completing a Remove & Install (R & I).
Rock Chip Repair Disclaimer
A rock chip repair is not a cosmetic repair and you may still see where the chip was located once the repair is complete. The purpose of a professional repair is to restore the structural integrity of the glass and prevent the damage from spreading. The appearance after the repair does not determine if it was successful or not. Please keep in mind that we are working with broken glass and during the repair there is always a possibility when injecting the resin(glue) into the damaged area that the chip could spread. If this should occur, we will not charge you for the attempt but we cannot guarantee the windshield and are not responsible for any breakage that occurs in attempting such repairs. After the completed repair, you have a lifetime warranty that the chip will not spread from the original repair location. If the repaired rock chip should spread, we will apply the amount paid for that repair towards a full windshield with our company.
Driver Safety System Calibration
The customer acknowledges that certain windshields replaced by Magic Glass may contain sensors for items such as lane departure warning system, forward collision alert, lane keep/collision assist, or any other sensor which controls the movement of the vehicle. Magic Glass has given the customer notice that the original equipment manufacturer may require the windshield sensor to be recalibrated or programmed after it is transferred from the broken windshield to a new windshield. Without the recalibration of these systems, the vehicle may not function properly, therefore, Magic Glass is not liable for any issues due to a non-calibrated windshield. Magic Glass not warrant or guarantee the proper function of any windshield sensor that was removed from a broken windshield. The customer further acknowledges that it will be the customer’s sole responsibility and expense to confirm the proper operation of the windshield sensor.
Customer Responsibilities
Curing time varies depending on weather conditions. Therefore, we strongly recommend that this vehicle not be driven or driven as little as possible during the first 12 hours. If we have applied any tape to your vehicle, it should remain in place for 24 hours and removed immediately. No high-pressure car washes for 5 days.
